Hi everyone,



Please join us for our daring Christmas social event at Boom Battle Bar (in Exeter at 18:00 on 13/12/2023)!



The evening consists of a one hour axe throwing event, that should keep you on your toes and bring your competitive side out. Oh, and remember… no alcohol before or during this experience, you need to wear closed toe shoes and no heels/sandals, and if you’re lucky enough to have long hair we need you to tie that back. We’re all about the fun but like safety too.



The evening will be followed by drinks after, with the committee funding one alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink.



This is a great opportunity to socialise with other students in a fun and exiting way.

Rosauro Aala was seconded to a client on his second day in his job as an accounting trainee. Once qualified, he was seconded to another client to fulfil the role of financial controller, while the existing person took maternity leave.

He went on to further secondments in the Middle East, Kazakhstan and South Africa. Each secondment had its challenges, which helped him to be more resilient and cope with problems when back to his normal job.

This is an opportunity to find out about coping mechanisms and how to prepare for the unexpected.

The event will consist of a talk from Rosauro Aala, followed by a Question and Answer session.
