"Hello, I’m Andy Cutting.

I have been working in the acoustic music world for the last 35 years. Playing and recording with many bands and artists, over the years, including Blowzabella, Chris Wood, June Tabor, Kate Rusby, Martin Simpson, Sting and The Who, as well as, of course, Topette!!

As a teenager I invented a way to play the diatonic button accordion that many have copied over the years. I continue to work on new projects, including duos with Anne Niepold, from Belgium and with Gudrun Walther, in Germany. I also play regular solo concerts and work with my English trio, Leveret. Along the way, I’ve been named Musician of the Year, three times, by the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.

It’s been a real pleasure, over the last few years, working with Topette!! They are a lovely bunch of people, who bring great joy to the music.
I can’t wait to get back out on tour, over the next couple of weeks…
