Meet Brooke, a young and passionate rugby player who's taking on an incredible challenge to support Wooden Spoon! π
As part of the .rugby.project.2023, Brooke will be completing 50 passes a day for an entire year β that's an astounding 18,250 passes in total! π²πͺ
Why is Brooke doing this? She's raising money to support Wooden Spoon as part of the Rugby Project. Challenges like this help fund amazing projects like respite and medical treatment centres, sensory rooms, specialist playgrounds, sports activity areas, and community-based programs across the UK. π₯π β½οΈ

Blackpool Students Embrace New Outdoor Canopy Wooden Spoon Charity transformed Devonshire Primary Academy, Blackpool, with a new outdoor canopy for early years pupils
The Newcastle Rugby Foundation has partnered with Wooden Spoon Northumberland and Wooden Spoon Durham to launch a Learning Disability Rugby programme. π
The initiative kicked off at Kingston Park Stadium, providing inclusive rugby sessions and new equipment for participants. This program is open to all abilities and aims to empower individuals with learning disabilities through the values of rugby. π
