Friends of Dance Easy
Friends of Dance Easy are working together to create a community space in the former Dance Easy studio in Folkestone. Join us!
We aim to purchase and refurbish the space in 2021, with support from local businesses and friends in our community.
Here she is! Good and bad news: The good news: We’ve put funding bids in that are really promising and have gathered support from Folkestone Town Council, Folkestone & Hythe District Council, Damian Collins, and our friends and community. Bad news:
The asset of community value moratorium ends tomorrow on September 9th - so that’s the last day we can put in a community offer. The auction is then happening on the 22nd - before the funding decisions will come through. The owner won’t wait, so we’re maybe going to miss out by a matter of weeks. We’re so close but time is not on our side…
Please contact [email protected] for press/info as always!
