Part of being a nurse is knowing my clinical limitations . I visited this lovely patient today who wanted the wax cleared in his ears . Was a bit of a surprise to see a hearing aid cleaner ( approx 3 inches) in length in his ear . Straight of to a&e as it had clearly gone through the membrane and beyond . Always know your clinical limits # # #
