Lexi, this cute Cavachon, from Canine Concern Scotland Trust (CCST), visited the Fore Hall recently to bring some welcome joy and stress relief. Attending a Paws for Stress event is an excellent excuse to step away from your work and engage in some vital self-care; indeed, clapping a dog or cat has been proven to slow down our heartbeat and lower our blood pressure! ๐ฅฐ
Aside from being very cute, Therapets offer invaluable opportunities for us to consciously make time for our mental health and well-being. The more we pause, the better!
Definitely look out for the next Paws for Stress event around campus! Therapets have the power to ensure our days can be something approaching magical...

On Tuesday 3rd May, our wonderful Peer Wellbeing Supporters ran a free bake stall outside the library. They provided informal peer support, promotes our service, and gave away some delicious homemade baking to support students stressed by exams. The homemade goods included chocolate peanut butter cookies, banana bread, and Aminaโs amazing mandazi! ๐ They did such a great job, we ran out of baking and had to grab some emergency biscuits! Thank you to everyone who came to our stall, and to our PWS supporters for making it happen! ๐
