Still can’t believe I’m saying this…MY BACKSPIN PADDLE!!

I’m so delighted to be taking part and have my work among so many amazing talented artists.

For my design, oh boy it’s a heavy one. My dad works at a cast iron factory, and when I brought the idea to him I expected him just to laugh…I didn’t think he’d actually let me do it. For this reason, instead of calling this piece ‘an absolute weapon’ or ‘yeah it’s heavy’, I decided to stick with ‘Thanks Dad’.

This and many other paddles will be available to bid for the next week, with all proceedings going to the Drumchapel Table Tennis Club. If you can’t come and wanna have a wee nosey (or even better bid on one of the paddles) head to pim-pam-co.uk/backspin.

Last chance to get some designs done for Christmas!!

Last week I got to work with the lovely in creating some menus and information posters for their events during COP26. I had a lot of fun working in this style and also just hearing about their amazing ethics and values.

During my placement at Pim-Pam I was given the opportunity to work on the Golden Charter Annual Report.

It taught me key skills like layout and print design and I’m really happy I’m now able to put a project like this in my portfolio.
