Your host will be award-losing comedian Charlie Wallace. Starting his career on the English language Asia comedy circuit, he has performed extensively in China and Vietnam, as well as Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and once in Eqypt. Over his six year stand-up career he’s opened shows for Ardal O’Hanlon, Glenn Wool, Phil Kay, Martin Mor and Greg Fleet to name but a few. Now based in Glasgow, he runs Comedy Dundee, Dundee’s most imaginatively named comedy club, as well as Jesters Comedy in Glasgow.

Featuring a mix of seasoned pros trying out new material, first timers taking to the stage, and everyone in between, open mics are always fun, full of ups and downs and a sense that anything could happen.

Your host will be the fantastic Kate Hammer. Anaemic, Canadian, and disgusting, Kate Hammer (BBC Short Stuff) has performed at Just for Laughs, opened for Karen Dunbar, and was a semi-finalist for LGBTQ Comedian of the Year and Funny Women 2022. A writer, performer, and all-round emotionally unavailable person, she is ready to be way too personal, wear high-waisted jeans, and make you laugh.

Your host for the night is four-time Scottish Comedian of the Year finalist and seasoned comedy circuit stalwart Graham Mackie. Down to Earth and just plain funny is the only way to describe Graham, who has drawn his best material from his dysfunctional home life and his eventful teaching career.
