My first comic has been sent off for grading today, Moon Knight No. 1! This was his first solo comic from 1980, with his first appearance in 1975 in Werewolf By Night No. 32

I can finally post about this! My latest big purchase...hundreds of comics! A real mix of Silver and Bronze age DC and Marvel comics, with a few graphic novels thrown in as well. Most of these will be going up on my eBay page, and a few will be sent away for grading which I will go into more detail about when I send them off.

A Circa 1853 edition of Bleak House by Charles Dickens! Unfortunately not a 1st edition, but still a very early copy!

It's been a busy old day of sorting through and identifying all these retro transformers! All of them are from the late 80s/early 90s, and most of them still have all there extra pieces!

It's been a fiction day today! Here are 4 items I picked out of the few I listed today.

Item 1: A 1977 First Edition The Silmarillion by Tolkien! A collection of stories about the creation of middle earth, which Tolkien first began to write during WW1, whilst in hospital. This item is going up for auction at 18:00 tonight.

Item 2: A 1950s Pop-up book about Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer! Written by Robert L. May, who first created the Character in 1939, and originally considered naming him Rollo or Reginald!

Item 3: A circa 1900s Hans Christian Andersan's Fairy Tales! Full of wonderful plates and pictures!

Item 4: Norwegian Fairy Tales, translated and selected by Brenda & Reidar Romskaug. Full of trolls and other stories, with many nice pictures and plates!

A real mixed lot this week, mainly Pokémon related though!

Item number 1 - Bill Badger's Winter Cruise by Denys Watkins-Pitchford or "BB". A beloved children's book, unfortunately not a 1st edition but still rare to find in such good condition with its dust jacket!

Item number 2 - Service Instruction Manual for the Standard "Ten" car. Old car manuals and catalogues like this are great for people who like to restore vintage cars or just with a general interest! This item dates to 1958, and unfortunately isn't in the greatest condition.

Item number 3 - A job lot of Topps Pokémon trading cards. These were brought out along side the Trading Card Game, and obviously weren't as successful, but still collectable!

Item number 4 - A job lot of over 150 Pokémon trading cards. This job lot is made up of cards from the Fossil set, the Team Rocket set and the Base Set 2.

Item number 5 - Individual Holo Pokémon Cards from the same sets as item number 4.

Going live tonight, both booklets by Leslie M. Steyn about Just Nuisance!

Just Nuisance was the only Dog to have ever served for the Royal Navy. He served as an able seaman on board the HMS Afrikander during the Second World War.
He was a Great Dane, with a height of 6ft6 (2m) when stood on his hind legs. Because of his size he would often get in the way - earning his name of Just Nuisance.
Unfortunately, he died in 1944, and was buried with full military honours. In 1985 a statue of Just Nuisance was erected in Simonstown, South Africa.

A while since I've posted, but we're back open and have been out buying a lot! The most recent purchase was some working model trains. The one photographed is a Basset Lowke Limited Editon 42981, O Guage.

Going live tonight! A set of 1830s The War in the Peninsula by W. F. P. Napier, with handwritten correspondence from the Author. General Sir William Francis Patrick Napier was an Irish born Soldier who served in the British Army during the Peninsular war, before he retired to write the History of the war.
