Each member has a different reason for doing CrossFit and we are proud that our space can serve a purpose to each member. What we do know, is that every member has benefited mentally since joining Talisman.

These are just two of the misconceptions we hear about CrossFit, but the truth is… you don’t have to be fit to join.

We train functional movements meaning they are movements that carry over and have currency outside the gym. This allows you to live independently with a high quality of life.

What’s your legacy?
July 23rd 2016 in a 700sqft box it was one person’s intention to work for himself and put on his favourite class for the local community. We had a floor, a speaker, some music and real hard work from anyone who wanted to join in. It quickly became the talk of the town.
With help from some local PT’s the class timetable went from 8 per week to 20 by January 2017. We knew it was time to expand so opened a dedicated PT studio a few doors down and now run group exercises and 12 week programs with over 100 active members.
Our philosophy is simply to inspire; to help people become better versions of themselves. The gym may change but our philosophy wont. We all know your name here, we do the basics right and we all care about you. That’s how it should be in every gym.
