Our product of the month this month is from Portslade! Sandwiched in between Shoreham and Hove smoke & cure a variety of local, ethically sourced meats & fish.
They launched in 2020 but have already won awards for their products. They're pork is sourced from 11 miles away and all their packaging is plastic free - What more could you ask for from a local product?
It was nearly impossible to pick our favourite from their range, but 'The Brighton Salami' just about clinched it! It's quite simply flavoured with fennel and peppercorn, but still very meaty.
Try it for yourself in our every day essentials box 'The Sussex'.

Strong or Mild? Soft or Crumbly? Smoked or Blue? No matter what your favourite kind if cheese is, have you covered!

Mark and his team create a wide range of cheeses including 'Truffle Ewe', a sheep's cheese layored with black truffle. As well as Brighton Blue, a creamy blue cheese that won double gold at the world cheese awards making it one of the top 15 cheeses in the world!

Based just outside of Horsted Keynes they operate from a working dairy farm (Trust me, as soon as you step outside your car you realise it's a working farm!) and we're delighted to feature four of their cheeses in our produce box "The Cheeseboard" 📦
