With special guests EMI signed artist and former BBC3's The Rap Game UK winner Graft ; former The Lion King cast member Karlene Wray , performing a hit from the musical; , Leeds trailblazing singer-songwriter (recently signed to a major label), who will ride the positive vibe performing his own songs across genres from RnB and Soul to Rap; Christella , Michelle Scally Clarke and much, much more.

The young people that attended were absolutely brilliant! Very energetic, creative and outspoken individuals, which made for the perfect worksho, as their creativity shun beyond expectation, each willing and able to share their thoughts and ideas through lyrics and poetry at the end of our session
What an inspirational group who loved expressing their creative process.

Councillor Abigail Marshall Katung became the 130th person to hold the Office of Lord Mayor of Leeds and Music House's in our 130th year were privileged to have our newly established Community Gospel Choir(directed by )perform for the new Lord Mayor at Leeds Minister.

Abigail is a huge advocate for Music House and the vision and mission we are striving for in our community. We would like to congratulate her on becoming the new Lord Mayor of Leeds ✨️

The Yorkshire Flute Choir performing ‘Down By The Riverside’ in Horsforth - what a great turn out! If you missed it, they will be playing a variety of songs at Farsley Farmers Market on the 22nd of June, along side other stalls from local small businesses!

The Flute Choir meet here at Music House on Tuesday evenings and are currently welcoming members grades 6+, please Contact Hazel at Music House if you would like to join!

In recognition of her 20+ years and experience as a musical director, Award winning composer, lyricist, vocalist, keyboard player, percussionist, workshop facilitator, and musical mentor Christella has a keen focus and investment in young / up-and-upcoming artists – working with them to develop and elevate their talent and confidence.

"We are in the very early stages of casting for the third series of ‘The Piano’ for Channel 4, which celebrates amateur pianists and shows what the instrument means to them. The first series of ‘The Piano’ aired last year and the second is being filmed at the moment. The series celebrates the nations love for the piano and saw amateur players come and perform at a number of train stations across the UK, before a select group where picked to play a final concert at the Royal Festival Hall in London.

We are looking for people that may be interested to take part in the next series, and one of the lovely things about it is that we are looking for people of all ages and backgrounds, and a real verity of music of all abilities. Essentially, as long as you are at amateur level and have a real passion and love for the piano, then you are eligible to take part. We saw people aged 11 all way up to their mid-90’s - so really is open to anyone! We are keen to hear from all sorts of performers, from classical pianists to singers and even comedians who use the piano in their act."
