Two performances of The Spirit of Christmas in Leeds today to wonderful audiences. Many thanks to our guests Masterworks Chorale, St George's Crypt, Leeds and our brilliant musical team.

Today is the last day of . it's been a very busy few weeks with around 300 students sitting their practical exam at St Marks House - including Andrew Winn (pictured to the right of Tim Knight Music).

Andrew has just found out he passed his Grade 8 singing exam with a Merit! 👏🏼 This is fantastic news. Huge well done from Tim and all the staff at Music House. ⭐️

Andrew has previously taken his Grade 3 and 5 singing as well as Grade 5 with Tim. He's also a member of St Anne's cathedral choir and is now concentrating on with Tim.

As you know we are the base for all the major exams boards including ABRSM, London College of Music Examinations and Trinity College London and we are truly honoured to be the number one choice.🙏🏽

We have a lovely opportunity coming up for families who have children or young people with a dual diagnosis of Down syndrome and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), who are in the assessment process or are just wondering if their child or young person may also have ASC.

We are going to be running a Crash! Bang! Twang! music exploration session at Music House in Leeds during October half term - these sessions will have a variety of spaces and musical instruments to try out, explore, or just observe.

There will be musicians to help try out instruments and singing and the fantastic Made with Music will also be with us for some of the session.

There will also be a space for families to chat together and with us and have a drink - we'd love to know how we can support you better!

What a super star⭐️. Smiling from ear to ear (and so he should). Varun has just passed his Grade 3 electronic keyboard with DISTINCTION which he took online with Trinity College London. He's now working towards his Grade 4. Watch this space. Everyone at Music House is so pleased for you ... especially teacher, Sean Smith.

Varun 17, has been a piano student of Sean's for three years and he's achieved so much in this time. 🎹🥇

We're not a college! Recently, we made the decision to do away with the academic calendar. Music House is a musical hub where people can learn for pleasure and work towards grade exams. This means you don't have to wait for a new term to begin.. you can start lessons immediately. Hurrah.
