The new Welfare and Vulnerability Engagement (WAVE) e-learning package from Safer Business Network is now available for SIA licence holders and others working in the licensed sector.

As part of the launch, The Security Industry Authority have secured several free sessions for SIA licence holders to take the training free of charge.

Key features of the e-learning course include:

It is voluntary, designed for those who wish to refresh or improve their knowledge of recognising and responding to the signs of vulnerability.

This includes a special module on identifying and reporting spiking..

The course can be accessed through mobile app, tablet or PC and takes only around 45 minutes to complete.

It is accredited by Highfield and equals to Level 2 qualification in welfare and vulnerability.

We have supported Epilepsy Action for 7 years at their annual Bradford 10k and we are pleased to be back again in 2023!

Bradford’s biggest road race is back again for 2023! Starting and finishing in the iconic surroundings of City Park, the fast, flat 10km course is perfect for runners chasing a personal best or looking to take part in a 10k for the first time. The race will be held on Sunday 12th March 2023, with a prompt 9am start. Proud to announce that Controlled Space successfully underwent two important annual assessments last week. They are the government’s Security Industry Authority’s Approved Contractor Scheme in which we achieved our highest score ever and the ISO 9001 internationally recognised quality standard.

We choose to have these voluntary accreditations to raise standards and keep up to date with current best practise.
