One of our fantastic staff members approached us 6 months ago with an initiative on how we can give back by doing something we're great at... snacking!

Howe introduced us to who are an amazing charity who transform empty crisp packets into blankets for the homeless and we were very keen to get involved.

It's no secret that our team eat a lot of crisps in the office so its great to see these empty packs go to good use!

Last week was national ‘Time to Talk’ day and here at GIG Retail we encouraged our staff to get involved and feel as comfortable and open talking to one another as possible.
To give people a reason to take a break from work and chat with one another, our health and wellbeing team arranged a selection of pizzas and cakes in the office and you can see from the images below that they went down a treat! 🍕🍰

We love hearing about each others motivational or inspirational moments both in their career or in life. We would love to hear any stand out moments you've had to help inspire one another!

With yesterday, here at GIG Retail our Mental Health and Well-being Team made a conscious effort to make Monday as un-blue as possible! 

The day was filled with staff posting jokes, winning prizes and posting colourful pictures of their pets (which is of course the best way cheer anyone up)!

What a fantastic GIG Retail Christmas party we had to celebrate all of our hard working staff members in 2022! 🤍

Here's a few highlights of the night including our Gigger of the year awards, the wonderful Back Chat Brass band, and of course the annual whole team picture to show us how much GIG has grown since 2014 when we only had 7 staff members!

Reflecting on November’s Mens Health Awareness Month, our team took the time to nominate some of the Motivational and Inspirational men at GIG Retail! Here’s some of the wonderful comments that were made about them.

With Black Friday and Cyber Monday commencing this week, we have a 3 Part insight overview into what retailers can expect! 🛍️

On Wednesday we took part in the Leeds Business Fives Ltd football tournament and are delighted to announce that we won!

GIG were top goal scorers, conceded the least goals & won £350 to be donated to  By winning the Leeds qualifying tournament we now have a place in the national finals in April!

Big shout out to Lewis Richmond - top goal scorer for GIG & man of the match in the final.
Incredible effort from all involved, you really are the greatest team!
