It is nearly time for us to start looking at the next issue of Awareness with Survive-Miva. So much work goes into this project. Before we can even begin to consider design and page layout, Simon at Survive-MIVA spends months carefully selecting content and creating copy. The Survive team are constantly updating their mailing lists, receiving and processing donations and considering applications which will then be featured in the following issue. When the content has been finalised the design stage begins, having worked alongside www.survive-miva.org for 20 years means we have a clear understanding of their brand and how to apply it, we love working with the grungy rough textures, working on the images and creating the torn cut out feel. While the design process is taking place we are also busy creating artwork for the various other elements needed to fulfil the mailing and managing multiple print, finishing and postage suppliers in preparation for over 17,000 copies to be printed and distributed across the UK.
