Against a backdrop of hostilities and uncertainty around the world, dentsu Japan and Global company, Marubeni, launched “Power of Together” — a cinematic ad series that unites audiences and highlights Marubeni’s brand vision.

Rooted in the Japanese proverb “昨日の敵は今日の友” (Yesterday's enemy is today's friend), the commercial features an array of adversaries, spanning genres like samurai, zombies and monsters, and sci-fi. These enemies drop old hostilities and embody the power of togetherness, with their combined efforts representing the Marubeni Group’s vision of its future.

Fun fact: the monster is controlled by the Japanese traditional film technique, tokusatsu, which requires the collaborative efforts of many individuals.
