WHAT SHOULD A RESTAURANT DO TO SUSTAIN BUSINESS?
Right now, all restaurants are getting less customers since the Covid pandemic. This is not going to change as potential customers are going out less often due to the cost of living crisis too. This is also made worse by rising costs of energy.
There are a few solutions:
1. A restaurant could enter a "Demand Flex" agreement with an energy supplier where the tariff /rate can be optimised to reflect periods of heavy and light power use
2. Update appliances like cooker and refrigeration units to be more "energy efficient"
3. Have a firm review total utility useage and identify where savings could be made...
