It’s official: you can now save if you drive electric vehicles (EVs) or plug-in hybrids even more thanks to our brand-new EV tariff!
Even better – the more services you take with us, the lower that overnight charging rate becomes.

We’re getting you going with a phenomenal price on this tariff - right up there with the best rates in the market. Three service customers will be able to charge an average size electric car from zero to full overnight for just £4.50. Compared to the price cap, that’s a saving of £350 a year.

Here’s all you need to know:

Our EV tariffs are designed for customers who use their home electricity supply to charge their car, giving them an ‘off-peak’ energy rate (between midnight and 5am).

As with all other variable electricity tariffs, prices will go up and down with the price cap (you can choose to combine with variable or fixed rate gas).

What to watch out for

Never share your online passwords over the phone

Never give out your UW My account password, email account passwords, or SMS one-time passcodes to anyone who calls you. UW will never ask for this information. If someone does ask for these passwords, hang up immediately.

Never change your password to something you’ve been told to

Fraudsters posing as UW may ask you to change your password to a specific one they provide.



A legitimate UW customer service advisor may ask you to update your password, but will never tell you what to change it to or ask what it is.

Notifications about changes to your customer details

When your account details are updated on the system, you’ll receive both an email and SMS. If you receive these notifications but didn’t update your details, someone may have accessed your account. Follow the steps below.

What should I do if I suspect my account has been compromised?

1. Report it to our customer service team immediately on 0333 777 0777.



2. Change your UW online account password:

In the UW app: click More → Account settings → Password?'
In your online account: if logged in, log out and click ‘Forgot password?' Then, follow the on-screen instructions.
3. If you spot something outside of customer service hours, freeze your Cashback Card, via the UW app or online account.

Top tip for staying safe

We strongly recommend enabling push notifications in the UW app to receive real-time alerts for all your Cashback Card purchases. You can then easily spot anything unusual.
