One of the biggest challenges working in the aesthetic field is counselling patients who are convinced they need a treatment, when in fact they do not.
We are increasingly comparing ourselves with unrealistic images and ideals we are incessantly bombarded with.
I believe the ultimate role of a practitioner in the aesthetic field is not to simply treat every patient who requests treatment but to listen, understand and nurture reassurance.
Changing how someone sees themselves in a positive way is more powerful than any procedure.
Treatments are effective, safe and can be highly impactful but are not the only way to restore the confidence.” - Dr Tapan Patel.

Dr Verma is the most experienced endolift practitioner in the UK and has trained a large number of leading plastic and oculoplastic surgeons, dermatologists, dentists and aesthetic physicians in the procedure – including Dr Tapan himself.

Due to the largely unregulated nature of the aesthetics industry, sadly it is far too common for practitioners to be sought after to fix botox gone wrong, or ‘botch jobs’, performed by unqualified clinicians. It is important that every practitioner keeps up to date with the safest techniques for treating a range of concerns and indications.

“For me, the best compliment is the patient posting her images a week later on her instagram!” - Dr Tapan Patel.
Treated live on stage in Dubai, Dr Tapan treated this patient for dark eye circles they’ve had since childhood, with more definition added to the jawline and plumper lips.
Traditionally the approach to the patient journey was about delivering what the patient wanted. By being patient driven, only one concern would have been dealt with, and patients would be left disappointed with results. Procedures became the same and injectors were interchangeable.
The experience was devalued and a medical consultant became a commodity. This is the opposite of how we should be running our clinics.
