Responsibilities:
Providing person centered support to young people with all aspects of their daily lives, within a home environment.
Providing encouragement to all young people to work towards achieving their goals.
Provide security and safety to young people.
Build trust and lasting relationships with young people.
Working closely with the management team and other stakeholders to ensure the young people receive the best possible care and support.
We are recruiting Healthcare Assistants for our domiciliary care company in London and surrounding areas. We are looking for people who can cover day, evening and weekend shifts. Shift patterns to suit your needs and availability. Plus term time only contracts considered. Must be a car driver/bike riders due to assisting people in their own homes.
Key duties :
To ensure that all service users are cared for with dignity and respect, to the highest possible standard. To provide personal care, help with dressing, administering medication and providing meals. Also companion and social calls
Qualifications and Skills:
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Main Responsibilities
The role of a Care Assistant at The Place Care is varied and largely depends on the customer you’ll be working with. Everything we do is designed to help our customers live happy, independent lives. In doing so, you’ll be:
Providing personal care duties
Administering medication
Manual handling, using equipment where required
Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full
Flexibly work a range of shift patterns including alternate weekends
