Returning Therapy to the Supplefeet Clinic, we have new Reiki Practitioner Rita Holland joining us.
Reiki is a holistic therapy that involves a practitioner placing their hands on, or just above, your body to help direct energy to any area that needs clearing, support or healing.
The aim is to change and balance your 'energy fields' in and around your body.
Reiki focusses on helping your body's progression on three levels
- physically, mentally and spiritually.
Rita also offers Access Bars (no actual bars involved) and EFT therapy.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) works on understanding emotions and responses to address mental, emotional and physical challenges, to motivate and bring confidence to change limiting patterns and reactions.

New Clinic in Malawi!
Whilst we are celebrating 20 years of Supplefeet, we received the news last week, that the new clinic we've been supporting is open in Malawi. It's taken a while but Dr M***a and his amazing team have done it! He now has a pharmacy, laboratory and a 3 bed observation ward, a huge upgrade from the original clinic.
In his words "I can’t thank you all enough for the amazing effort you all contributed to this project. Without you this would not have been possible" Zikomo Kwambiri.
Miss Supple's personal connections, inspired her to fundraise for this important mission, back in April 2022, where she had to learn to swim front crawl, and completed 8km across Lake Malawi, with a team of others, and her children Arthur and Lucy, kayaking alongside her.
We could not be prouder to be a part of this fabulous achievement.

20 years of Supplefeet! 💙

We are 20 today!

This time, 20 years ago, we opened Supplefeet clinic. We had no patients and we had no idea of the road ahead.

Thank you to all our patients and all who have done so much to create such an amazing project - which feels like it is only really just getting going.

Taking some time to reflect and celebrate this moment over the coming weeks.

House of Lords for the Royal College of Podiatry Awards. As Trustees of Arch Support, we were delighted to see be awarded the Lord Alf Morris award. This is for her work to ensure NHS staff have access to good hot food all hours. So well deserved and shows the power of a campaign. Thanks to Lord Roy Kennedy for hosting this important event.

Go Lionesses! England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Wondrous to see the rise in women’s football. Same game , different feet! Good to see new designs of football boots for women coming out the phantom Luna - broader 5th metatarsal and wider. Clinicians focusing more of needs of women and girls in sport.

We are very sorry to announce the death of our friend and colleague Janet Thomsen. Fondly known as “JJ” to us all.

Her funeral is planned for Thursday and please do contact me for further information.

I have arranged for an Obituary to be placed on our Royal College of Podiatry website.

We will miss her so much.
Her zest for life. Fashion sense and multi travels made her life one of adventure and style. We were lucky to have her work alongside us.

May she rest in peace.
May perpetual light shine upon her.
