As a coffee fanatic I had to stop here for a little break today during my delivery rounds in East London.
The smell just drew me in, but the writing on the machinery was a bit worrying.
I guess I'll have my coffee quickly before the throw me in 😂

Lunch is served! Malloreddus ( typical Sardinian pasta ) served with Ragu and grated Desiderio Di Tartufo.
Don't know why I didn't try this combo before, but definitely doing it again very soon!

Just a closer look at yesterday's selection.
Briscola ( top right ) is a semi hard organic cow's milk cheese refined in organic Raboso wine.
Raboso is a typical wine of the Veneto region in Italy.
It's name translates as angry but, trust me, the fruity notes it gives to this wonderful cheese are quite the opposite!

Today me and Action Pam celebrate our non wedding anniversary!
We bought each other flowers, chocolate, some Drunk Cheese ( obviously! ) and promised not to argue for at least 24 hours!
Later today I will pop by for a nice bottle of red for dinner.

This June it will be 15 years since we opened our stall , when it was only me, ,Ubriaco Classico and the dream to source a crazy selection of cheeses refined with booze.
Our mission was not simple back then, but our selection slowly grew nonetheless.
We realised that, like with any cheese, there's producers who create for passion and others for fashion needless to say in which category ours fall.
We survived 2 terrorist attacks and we are surviving a global pandemic ( staggering but still standing a friend used to say all the time ).
Where am I going with this?

Good evening cheese fiends!
This was my dinner tonight and man it was dili...delu...dele, how does it spell again? I don't know, but yeah dinner was GREAT!!!!!
Rigatoni with mushrooms with a cream made with the best blue cheese in the world ( mind you I am not the only one to say this, the judges of world cheese awards agree with me ): BASAJO
Sharp and tangy ewe's milk blue refined with Passito Di Pantelleria and topped with Chilean grapes
Melts like a snowman in the sun and made this pasta delicious ( is this the right spelling? )
