It's about finding out what works best for us as unique indivIduals and sticking to a personal plan. At the Fit Shack classes aim to be motivational, educational and inspirational, offering an inclusive environment for all levels of ages and abilities.

Menopause workouts are trending!!

There is no such thing though. Who says you have to workout in a certain way because we are going through menopause???

Yes there are things to consider such as
💪 your goals
💪 your symptoms
💪 your recovery

But symptoms can change. Your goals might change. So your workouts can change.

But don’t let anyone tell you that a certain type of exercise is not for you because you are menopausal. We are badass women. We can adapt. We can change. We can grow. We can do anything.

My Story - The start of the Fit Shack

Hi I am Jacqui, a no nonsense Lancashire lass who wears my heart on my sleeve!

I have been passionate about sport and fitness since a very young age and never felt better than when I was on the netball court. As a kid I was constantly upside down doing cartwheels, handstands against the wall or headstands. When I was a bit older, I used to tag along with my Mum to Aerobics and yes that included the leg warmers and thong style leotard!

I continued to exercise through both of my pregnancies and was determined to continue after giving birth. Buggy Fit brought a lot of great new friendships which are still there today. Some of my greatest friendships have been made through sport and exercise.

It was after the birth of my second child that I realised I wanted to pursue a career in the fitness industry and took myself off to Premier Global where I passed my level 2 then Level 3 personal training qualification. After training a few clients outdoors in local parks I realised that I really enjoyed group fitness and the buzz, energy and banter that comes with it. So I converted my large garage into a studio and started the Fit Shack. My aim is to educate, motivate and inspire people to be the best version of themselves. My ethos is: do something for yourself, stay healthy and do something that you enjoy! Come and join a class.
