All our fencers enjoyed having a go at the target practice (or whack-a-mole as it was referred to!).
It really helps to improve accuracy. We don't have it every week, so it was great for our members to have a bit of variety to their session this week.

🗓️ Starting on the 29th of January, we are offering a beginners course where you can learn the fundamentals of foil to kick start your fencing journey. ⚔️

We are offering a 6 week course where all equipment will be provided, all you need is some comfortable exercise clothing and some water! ✅

Just a quick reminder for everyone concerned that we are starting off Monday (tomorrow) with our first fencing session of the year, so come and get fit after all the fairly recent celebrations!

Just a quick reminder that we start fencing again tomorrow (Monday) at 7pm, welcoming everyone back again and aspiring new members and beginners!

Just to let everyone know that we are not meeting up during August (heat and hols). Last session for this term on the 31st of July and then back again on the 4th of September and the brief AGM on the 11th.
In the meantime, we are looking for a Secretary and a Treasurer, so please, if you can spare a little of your time, we will be most grateful!

Just to let you know that the bank holiday season is rapidly approaching and the fencing club will not be meeting on the 1st and 8th of May, the latter being linked to King Charles' Coronation and the 29th of May is Whitsun holiday too.

That said, the club still needs more adult members, so if you're thinking of taking up the noble and skilful sport or during off that aging foil in the attic, please get in touch and you will be most welcome. Beginners always welcomed and will be taught how to fence from day 1. The first session is a try-out and is free! Equipment provided and we hope to see you soon.
