SCALE WEIGHT ISN’T EVERYTHING. ⚖️
If I told you in one of each of these photos I’m 1.5kg heavier which one would you think it would be?
The images on the LEFT I’m around 1.5kg heavier than the image on the right.
Whether you’re currently in a weight loss or growing phase don’t let scales weight be the only determining factor that you’re looking at in regard to your progress.
Body composition and training performance at a said weight vs last time you were that weight are both key to analyse to measure results.
If you’re the same weight you were last time you dieted but this time round you’re considerable stronger at that body weight or you have more muscle mass and less body fat… THAT IS PROGRESS.
If you’re not measuring these factors and just chasing scale weight it can be hard to monitor progress, leading to being demotivated and sometimes even quitting the journey.
Use multiple metrics and check in photos to measure progress.

Off-Szn Update ☝🏼
Still early days here only 8 days in, first rotation of my Upper session today and plenty of progressions 💪
72.3kg this morning so around 3kg up from stage weight with the softness visible… but know this is very needed to get to where I want to be and to put myself in the best standpoint to build as much muscle tissue as possible.
So far so good with everything, training, sleep, energy levels are great and some added flexibility here and there with food and even a few 🍸
Life’s good. 🚀
ROOKIE ‘24 EDITION ™️
The man is back with another crazy transformation through his dieting phase for this year. After completing his deficit from last year we’ve reversed him out nicely and built some solid new muscle tissue in his push up phase that ran until the end of March before entering another diet.
91kg peak body weight on push up phase down to 79.5kg today. It’s what we do 😎 Rookie has a just get it done attitude, performance peak off season provide some crazy strength numbers and no matter what is thrown at him and obstacles along the way, an absolute grafter and pleasure to coach.
Holiday for the big man now, then a few more weeks dieting to chase some more condition before another reverse and push up phase 🚀

I done a 12 week plan with Will having no real commitment or goal beforehand and during my 12 weeks with Will this changed, I am now really keen and enjoy going gym and this was down to wills knowledge and experience he has.
My proudest result since working with Will is achieving the result I set out to achieve, before I started I was in a bad mental place, felt awful and didn’t like the way I looked and now I am much more confident in myself, feel positive and my mental state has improved.

What is the best thing about Online coaching with Will?
The best thing I found with Will is how individual the programmes are, he will adapt the programme to your specific needs and he can also offer advice and help in any areas you may have a weakness in. Will’s knowledge of nutrition is really impressive as well and he is constantly adapting meal plans or macros to get the best result. With Will you are certainly not getting a generic plan and he’s always on the end of the phone when you need him for anything.

I did a 12 week programme with Will, targeting fat loss and lean muscle growth. The programme helped me massively with my goals and I don’t think I’d have seen the results I did without his help.
Can you share your proudest result since working with Will?
Ultimately I signed up with Will to try and look better but the other side of this was general fitness and energy levels improved and my running improved dramatically even though this was not our primary aim .

He is on hand and attentive to every bit of your needs and is passionate about what he does which reflects in his work and how he pushes you to get the results you’re after.
He has helped me with my nutrition and training and always answers any questions or queries I may have.

Will’s online coaching, from the initial set up call, was a chance to go through all my goals I want to achieve and get out of online coaching, he sets a work out plan which he monitors along my progress and makes changes where needed along the way. Will also gives lots of meal plans and advice on foods, which helps you achieve your daily macros (which is worth its weight in gold ).
Weekly check ins and tracking your progress are all provided from within the app.
Will’s service is top tier , it benefits me as it’s easy to follow and is tailored to what I need around my work and other sports I play,
Can you share your proudest result since working with Will?
Proudest moment so far is getting a 10km pb in 6 weeks in with will and honestly never felt better , I’m eating more then I’ve ever eaten and still dropping body fat and building muscle 💪🏻

Let’s try and summarise these last 47 weeks then and the lead up to stepping on stage a competing.
A goal that just sort of came to me and I just thought… yeah f**k it let’s do it, since that moment I’ve been absolutely ALL IN 🫡 to the whole process.
Initial conversations with were had and I was fully invested and excited about the journey ahead and Tom being my coach, the best decision I ever made. Now a brother, calling Tom my coach does not do him justice for what he has done for me. Mental and physical gains on another level.
The goal was never realistically to look at being competitive on stage based off my start point (end slide 😅) but literally just step on and get into the best shape I’ve been in. Excited about what we can achieve with an 18 month growing phase ⛽️
A massive reason for me being able to achieve what I have has been down to I can’t even begin to explain how amazing you’ve been throughout this whole process. Prep can get hard, energy can get low and social aspects of life have to take a hit. You’ve supported me the whole way through and just been incredible. I couldn’t have done it without you ❤️ date nights back on the calendar SOON. 🍕 🍔 🍷
This whole journey has taught me so much. I’ve always loved the thought of being an athlete but with the sports I’ve tried ⚽️ 🏉 ⛳️ mainly because my mates were doing them and I didn’t want to miss out, I didn’t come close. I feel with bodybuilding I’m just working on myself everyday and doing it for me. I love that.

The best thing about having Will as my coach is that whenever I have a question, whether it be regarding nutrition, supplements or even on the gym floor about form, he breaks it down and makes it so much easier.

The service Will provides is second to none. Even if there’s not much change from my week, he goes into so much detail about every aspect and explains why what is what. And that benefits me so much as if I didn’t see any of these things, I would lose motivation very very quick.

What is the best thing about Online coaching with Will?
Having Will as an online coach has massively helped my journey. He’s created bespoke programmes that fit my needs e.g. adjusting them for injury and focusing on exercises that I want to improve. He’s always on hand to answer any queries I have about my programme and is willing to adapt it in any way possible to make sure I’m 100% happy with it. I couldn’t ask for a more supportive or approachable coach.
Can you share a brief summary of the service I provide and how it benefits you?
I began training with Will because my motivation was at an all time low in the gym. Will has pushed me and kept me accountable during my gym journey so that I can make sure I’m achieving my absolute potential. He provides motivation both in person and online and is always thinking of new ways to make sure that he can best help his coaching group as a whole as well as encouraging them to learn from each other.
Can you share your proudest result since working with Will?
My proudest result since training with Will is achieving a 73kg bench press which is above my bodyweight. I told Will that one of my focuses was to improve my bench and through his specific programming, injury rehab advice and messages like ‘you can go heavier for 3 reps!!!’ I was able to achieve my goal. Although this is my proudest goal in terms of weight lifting, I’d also say he’s helped me achieve a variety of other wins in the gym such as improved motivation, consistent macro hitting and feeling more confident within myself both physically and mentally.

What is the best thing about Online coaching with Will?
The best thing about online coaching with Will is having a clear plan, with a clear end goal and purpose. I love the accountability of having a trainer which keeps me on track.
Will is always available and has time for me, responding to any questions and giving me tonnes of advice. His eye for detail is second to none. I also feel like we’re in it together as he’s on his own fitness journey and seeing him smashing it everyday inspires me even more. He has a wealth of knowledge and I’m constantly learning.
In addition to the training, he has given me loads of nutrition advice since I started, expanding my knowledge of what to eat and what not to eat, as well as how to eat sustainably to make a meaningful long term change to my relationship with food. Aside from the training, Will really cares about your wellbeing and is always on hand to motivate you and give you any lifestyle advice you need.

Physique Update @ 5 weeks out.
69.6kg this morning. Running flat as to be expected and what’s absolutely necessary and needed at this point. Training is holding on the large part so knuckling down with the set up.
Current set ups are-
Food:
TD 2025cals - 200P 250C 25F
NTD 1525 - 200P 125C 25F
Expenditure:
5x Training Days- Push, Legs, Pull, Rest, Push, Pull, Rest
Cardio- 5x 40mins 1x 50mins per week.
Steps- 13000 TD 15000 NTD
Lower back the last thing to really play ball now but expected this. Time for a big ol dig to bring it in now 😈🚀
