Where is your favourite place in the world? I have 3 – Edinburgh, Cornwall and Jersey
Do you have any pets? If yes, what and what are their names? We recently got a rescue cat called Apple. She was found by the RSPCA and gave birth to 5 kittens. My daughter has 3 of her kittens and we adopted Apple. We love cats and have had many over a 45 year period.
What music do you enjoy listening too? All sorts of genres, starting with the Beatles in the 1960s, then prog rock (I went to see lots of groups in my youth including Elton John and T Rex). I have over 300 LPs and CDs! My favourite group now is Coldplay.

Introducing ... Ella who has been part of the team since 2020.
Do you have any pets? If yes, what and what are their names?
My family have 3 pets, 2 dogs, Bertie and Reggie and 1 cat, Lola. I also have a cat called Phillip, he’s been with me for 6 months and is a rescue.
What do you enjoy doing when not at work?
When not at work I enjoy exploring new places, going on holidays and socialising with friends and family. My favourite place I’ve been to this year is Wales, especially going to see the Swallow Falls waterfall. I enjoy walking, discovering hidden places and being outdoors. I have done a lot of animal experiences, I have fed red pandas, walked alpacas, fed meerkats, flown owls and ridden a horse through the Welsh valleys.
What music do you enjoy listening too?
I generally enjoy listening to musical soundtracks, it’s something I feel passionate about and something that makes me happy. My favourite ones to listen to at the moment are: Cabaret, West side story, Hamilton and Waitress. I also enjoy artists such as Harry styles, Avril Lavigne and Hozier.
Look at this amazing piece of artwork by one of our students.

What was the best thing you bought in the last year?
The best thing I bought last year would have to be Beyonce Renaissance Tour tickets. She was spectacular! My younger sister and I used to listen to her together on my mp3 when we were kids, and we both cried like babies when she came onto the stage!
What music do you enjoy listening too?
Music plays such an important role in my life. It unlocks memories deep in my brain and allows hours and hours of daydreaming. I love everything from classical to even the occasional rock song. No genre is off limits. I used to play the piano and create my own songs, which is something I am keen to get back into.
If you went on mastermind what would your specialist subject be? "Friends" the tv show, ask me anything!
