One thing I always try to teach in class, is to pursue the things you find difficult.
Don’t let yourself fall into the habit of quitting when something isn’t immediately easy - that’s how you hardwire your brain into destructive, negative patterns. Instead, learn to view challenges as something exciting, welcome them.
It was never in our nature to quit; imagine if we stopped trying to walk and talk as babies because we found it hard, (we didn’t because we didn’t have that little voice telling us we couldn’t do it.) Pushing through difficult things is when we find growth.
Repetition and discipline applied with positive intention is how we can overcome challenging situations, and that’s when hard becomes easy.
What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail?
Restore balance, build strength, increase flexibility and look after your mental health.
