Well that is the 2023 triathlon season drawn to a close! Mostly it was filled with smiles!! Year on year it’s so great to see so many people taking part in this great sport. People pushing their mental and physical boundaries to get to finish lines! Well done everyone.
Today was a great race at Wells and so good to see so many Tri-Anglia Members (+ friends) enjoying it.
Thanks to coach Sam Proctor for looking after me once again this year!
One more challenge to come next week!! Then it’s rest time!

I don’t know what drew me to pick up this old notebook this morning but it was the one I started in April 2020 when Healthier Happier You was just a dream I guess! To be a motivational 😇 was my Super North ⭐️ ! I started plotting what could happen if I did start the journey! supported me with some amazing coaching sessions which made me feel really uncomfortable at the time as I was honest about my dreams! One of which was to be giving inspirational talks to big audiences! created a brand and meaning for me and brought things to life! People encouraged me and helped me believe in myself and then the journey really got going and wow what a journey it is and I’m loving where the HHY fun 🚌 is heading! This isn’t a big myself up post but a post to remind everyone to have a super north 🌟 and to dream big! Then to get out of their comfort zone and start the journey. Hand on ❤️ this is the best thing I’ve ever done in my life! 🌟 ❤️ 💪

Bit chilly in the 🏏 club house tonight but that didn’t stop the u13’s and u11’s county age group girls and their parents turning out for an end of the week Healthier Happier You talk! Inspiring the next generation is an absolute treat and the perfect end to a great week. 💕

Thankfully this morning I’m not Hazy Jane but there have been a few moments over the last few weeks! But that’s fine as the festive period is a great time to enjoy ourselves! But today it’s back to the routine which makes me feel healthy and happy! So however you are feeling this morning make hydration your priority! Water that is ☺️! Happy new year everyone and make 2023 the best yet! 🥰

A reminder that daughters are for life and not just Xmas today! ‘Daddy I need to move home as I’ve got a burst pipe and a bit of flooding’! Naturally he’s delighted so we’ve had a Hannah Bake off this afternoon!

Went back to school this week and wow what a jolly old time I had. It’s an absolute treat to be given the opportunity to inspire our next generation to think BIG about their Super North 🌟! Also a reminder of what an amazing job teachers do. 🌟

Oh you did not disappoint! What an absolutely amazing day! I smiled every mile and came away with a 3:44 which 2 weeks after Ironman I am buzzing with! Congratulations especially to the speedy legend for taking on her first marathon and everyone else who completed

Well two years and one day later we took on Ironman 🇮🇹 and it didn’t disappoint! I was after a PB (so I can retire 😉- until next time)! And a PB is what I got 💪🏽! Time well spent on both the physical and mental preparation. Thanks coach and for your help and support. Couple of weeks to recover before then I’m up putting my feet up

🙏🏻 what an absolutely splendid evening celebrating the contribution of so many people who make 🏏 what it is in our fine county! Feel incredibly positive about next season and what as a team we can all achieve. Thanks everyone for what you do and enjoy a little break 💕

Never any doubt 🤣🤣🤣! When it’s half price who wouldn’t try and get in the only size left even if it’s a bit of a gamble 😱😱😱🤭🫣

When pictures can paint a 1000 words. Last weekends collection shows absolute joy, absolutely pain and absolute relief on the finish line. An awesome race put on by with super marshals . A great reminder of the importance of mental preparation and that physical strength alone doesn’t get you through races! Recovering well and looking forward to he next one in 🇮🇹 in six weeks (yes yes I know I swore that there wouldn’t be another ☺️😍)! Every day is a learning one.

Still in reflection mode after last weekends race this was a phenomenal listen and perfect timing as I start the journey to the next one in 6 weeks! Thanks 🌟

Even I eat McDonald’s sometimes 😉! Just craved some salt and grime! Awesome 🏊🏻‍♀️ today followed by a brutal 🌬 🚴 then a bit of a walk/run marathon! !But 11:40 and 11th female overall so I am happy!

Three years since I racked up for my last long distance triathlon! Nottingham is this weeks destination to give it another go! 🏊🏻‍♀️ (2.5 miles) 🚴 (112 miles) 🏃🏻‍♀️ (26.2 miles)! See you on the other side 💪🏽
