Wow wow .. Course FULL but don’t panic
The response has been incredible our Rookie Lifeguard Course is FULL..
Based on this there will no longer be a children’s keep fit class and Instead I will be running another Rookie Lifeguard course instead.. Sprowston Community High school Saturdays at 2:15..

2 new courses starting after may half term on Saturday afternoons at Sprowston Community Academy..
*Rookie Lifeguard**
Swimmers must be a minimum of 8 years old and must be able to swim confidently..
Working through the Royal lifesaving Society (RLSS) bronze silver and gold awards
**Childrens swim to fitness**
Swimmers must be able to swim confidently this will not work on stroke technique but fitness and stamina.. classes will be cheaper than our usual learn to swim lesson costs

We have added pool time on Wednesdays at sprowston community academy to enable us to go through our waiting list for beginners..
With our teachers starting earlier this has enabled a new 1-1 or 2-1 session with Tori at 5:00pm
Great for children that need a bit of extra help with their confidence, children with SEND needs or children wanting to brush up on their technical ability..
This availability starts after Feb half term first come first serve

The difference in my daughters water confidence since starting with Ready Steady Splash has been outstanding. She’s been on a real journey with swimming and now absolutely loves it! She looks forward to it each week, challenges herself to do new things in the lessons and has made lovely friends. Tori really praises her for her achievements and I know that means so much to Darcey. 🏊♀️
I cannot put into words how proud I am of this little fella. But more so I cannot thank Paige & the team for getting him to here
Louie has been coming since he was 4 months old. He's gotten confident around water, socialised with other little people and has so much fun! I've even made some friends too so that's a bonus. I can't fault Tori especially when our littles decide to do their own thing and eat all the toys. She's so patient! X

Hannah and her team are amazing. My little boy has only now started swimming and his is so nervous and suffers with anxiety. They are all so patient and kind we him. He didn't want to go and was so scared to start with but now he looks forward to going and is getting more confident and I'd enjoying more everything. So thank you all and can highly recommend xx
My son Edison absolutely loves his swimming lessons, hes been with Ready Steady Splash now for two years, his confidence and excitement over going says it all, he cant wait each week and he comes out beaming from ear to ear, they call him lungs of steel he defo loves the underwater skills 🩵
My son went from being scared of water! Holding on to your neck to a confident excited little boy! We even went on holiday and he was in the middle of the pool and took his swimming aids off! This would have never had happened without ready steady splash! We are so greatful to have found an amazing swimming school 💗 xx

My son has been with Ready Steady Splash since he was 4 he’s about to turn 12 he absolutely loves his lessons with Paige Littleboy she works him very hard and the improvement he has made is remarkable. He struggles with coordination and self confidence but swimming definitely helps him believe in himself a bit more. I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else

We love everything about Ready Steady Splash! We had lessons elsewhere for 18 months with very little progress. 4 lessons into Ready Steady Splash and my little one has learnt more than the whole 18 months elsewhere🤩

Our boys have made so much progress since starting only 1 term ago. They’re no longer frightened of the water and have come on so far with the skills they’re learning every week, they love going and were made to feel so at ease when they first went full of nerves 🥰

Our preschool swimming lessons are designed to introduce young children to the water, promote water safety, and build basic swimming skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Age Group:
Preschool swimming lessons are typically designed for children between the ages of 3 to 5 years old.
Water Confidence:
The primary goal of preschool swimming lessons is to develop water confidence in young children. Activities focus on helping children feel comfortable in and around the water, introduce basic stroke techniques and prepare them for independent swimming lessons.
Parental Involvement:
Between the ages of 3 and 4 parents will be required to participate in the water with their preschoolers, this is until Ready Steady Splash teachers think they are emotionally ready for independent lessons. Parental involvement can enhance the child's comfort level and create a positive bonding experience.
Qualified Teachers:
Our programmes are always with experienced and fun qualified swim Teachers who specialise in teaching young children. Our teachers have a huge knowledge of child development and effective teaching methods for this age group.
Structured Curriculum:
Our preschool swimming lessons follow the swim England learn to swim programme, our lessons make it fun to learn and introduces basic water skills progressively.
Water Safety Education:
Water safety is a crucial component of our preschool swimming lessons. Children are introduced to basic water safety rules and encouraged to understand and respect the water in a fun and positive learning experience.
Small Class Sizes:
Our classes are small to allow for more individualised attention, creating a safer and more supportive learning environment for preschoolers.
Fun and Games:
Our preschool swimming lessons incorporate games and activities to make the experience enjoyable for young children. Playful elements can help keep the children engaged while learning important water skills.
Gradual Progression:
Our lessons are designed to progress gradually, allowing children to build on their skills at their own pace. This approach helps prevent overwhelm and builds confidence over time. 1. Start Early:
Many experts recommend starting baby swimming lessons early, at an early stage babies still have a natural affinity for water and are usually more receptive to swimming experiences.
2. Why choose Ready Steady Splash:
We are a well-established and reputable local family run swim school to help deliver classes to you and your babies needs. We ensure that our instructors are experienced in working with infants and know how best to tailor our lesson plans around a gentle dynamic approach to help your baby with not only gaining confidence in water but help improve cognitive function, build important muscles, improve co-ordination and improve sleeping patterns.
3. Parent-Child Classes:
Baby swimming lessons often involve parents or caregivers participating in the water with their infants. This helps build trust between the baby and the adult while creating a bonding experience.
4. Gentle Introduction:
If it is your first few classes we will not force any baby or child but we gradually introduce your baby to water, sometimes at the start of joining our classes babies cant fulfil their full lesson, this is perfectly normal, we understand their cues and will honour these, with time babies go on to enjoy the full lesson, without force.
