Rain Stops Play Productions welcomes you to the best show in town - the ‘Live and Peculiar Aestival Festival’! (‘aestival’ means summer, look it up)

Join us for Oxford’s ONLY stand-up cabaret evening, hosted at the legendary Jericho Tavern venue. We have a crop of critically acclaimed talent you can’t afford to miss, both established and up-and-coming - including headliner Stephen Catling [Malcolm Hardee Award 2023 Shortlist, BBC New Comedian of the Year 2023 finalist], Anna George [Chortle Student Comedy Awards 2024 finalist], Anna Hale [Musical Comedy Awards 2024 Audience Favourite] and many MANY more!

Along with the laughs, enjoy live music from Antonia and Nash & Pete, and peruse the Live and Peculiar pop-up Art Gallery. We will also be launching at the event the ‘Oxford Comedy Archive’ - a brand-new free online museum documenting Oxford’s comedy heritage (more information to follow soon...)!

The sun, sea and sand are calling! We’re now looking for comedy/cabaret acts of ANY kind, for the upcoming ‘Live and Peculiar Aestival Festival’ (‘Aestival’ means summer-y, look it up)!

The gig is on the 18th July at Oxford’s Jericho Tavern (calltime 7pm, doors open 7.30pm)- the pay is £10 for a 5-7 minute slot!
