Regular customers to Oxfam Mutley Plain will be delighted to see that our long-standing, regular volunteer Ben has received an award in support of the Diocese of Plymouth . Well done Ben, and thank you for all you do in support of Oxfam Great Britain and Oxfam Mutley Plain.

🌟It’s the final day of , a chance to celebrate the wonderful contribution of volunteers across our diocese.

❤️ Caritas would like to extend a very heart felt thank you to all of those who have volunteered their time and efforts to help make our events and projects such a great success.

❤️ During volunteers' week, we have been reflecting on how we rely so much on the generosity of other people's willingness and service. It was a great pleasure for Tanya Trevena, one of our development workers, to visit Ben in his other place of volunteering at the Oxfam shop in Plymouth. Ben has been given our Caritas in Action award in recognition of all of the wonderful help he has extended to us at our many events over the past few years.

Right now we need... a volunteer driver to empty our book 🚛🚚🚙banks (in 2 Plymouth locations) on a weekly basis. You need access to your own vehicle; we get a lot of books donated via the book banks, so room to carry large sacks of books and a level of physical fitness is key. Pop in Oxfam Mutley Plain to have a chat with our shop Manager, or DM to make contact, to find out more about this essential volunteer role. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD!
