🌟🌟Staff member of the month🌟🌟

For August, our staff member of the month is our lovely Chris! Staff members were given the opportunity to vote this month, and Chris won it due to being a brilliant help & support to all the rooms within Kenleys! Chris works on a Wednesday and predominantly works in our 2-3’s & our preschool room, but does occasionally spend time with our 18months - 2 yr room too!
Well done Chris, very well deserved!

Did you know that we have regular staff meetings?
Once a month between 6 - 7pm we hold a staff meeting! We discuss a variety of different things such as what we are going to plan for your children within each room, any events that are coming up and more serious topics such as safeguarding & new government legislation. We also provide training at these times and we have recently all had training about understanding children’s behaviour and promoting positive behaviour to name but a few.
At tonight’s meeting, Hazel our SENDCo talked to us about the importance of Makaton and the use of visuals to aid the children’s understanding to be able to follow our daily routines.

🩵 Our Erin has had her baby boy!!!

Huge congratulations to her!!! Rudi Edward Macdonald was born weighing a whopping 9.3Ibs!

Both mum and baby now home and doing really well 🩵

Did you know that we have a dining room for our 2 - 3 & 3 - 4 year old children?
We decided to turn our ‘quiet room’ into a ‘dining room’ area back in June.
Our Peacocks children and Parrots children join together to eat lunch and tea every day.
This is to introduce them to communal eating and gives them plenty of opportunities to interact with one another.

Our holiday club children had a wonderful morning last week, spending time with the clients from T&J Care! They made some nature pictures, sang songs together and had fun playing outside on the field! Thank you for having us over for the morning 🥰

🌟Staff Achievement🌟

Congratulations to our very own Leighton! He has just passed all his exams and gained his Level 2 in Childcare!
Leighton has worked really hard in the last year to gain this qualification, so a huge well done to him!

We still have a couple of spaces available in our holiday club, come and see what we are doing this week!

🌟Staff Members of the Month 🌟

For July, we have two staff members of the month - Hannah & Amanda!

Hannah is our Deputy Room lead within the Baby unit but has worked in all our rooms within the nursery!
Amanda is based in our Pre-School room and has also worked in our 2-3 year room too!

Parents voted for them both, for their kindness to their children, showing them lots of love, patience and understanding!

Very well deserved to you both!

This changeable weather may have been inconvenient at times, but it’s certainly been good for our plants around Kenleys!

🌟 Our lovely Erin has passed all her exams and is now Level 2 qualified! Massive well done to Erin for all of her hard work in achieving this! 🌟
We are also saying good bye to Erin for a little while as she is also off on maternity leave today! We are all going to miss her loads but know she’ll be back really soon!
Good luck Erin and make sure you come back to see us lots with your little baby 👶🏻

Our staff member of the month for June is Chelsea!
Chelsea works in our 2-3 room. Chelsea has been at Kenleys since she’s been an apprentice and now holds a Level 2 in childcare. Chelsea has worked really hard in the last month embracing all the changes we have made and has shown that she has taken on board everything we have asked her to do. Well done Chelsea, very much deserved!
