Getting out and about during Summer means feeding hungry young ones, so here’s a list of places where kids can eat free/for £1 over the holidays!
The Summer Holidays are almost upon us, so next week sees the return of our Short Breaks provision!
Every Tuesday during the holidays we are setting out from Devonport Park Activity Centre for a day of exploration, treasure hunting, and getting out and about! Sessions run from 10:30 til 3:30.

We think this new kit design is a winner, let’s hope the Three Lions are winners tomorrow!

What an amazing evening we had at Youth Awards 2024. Although we are sad to say we didn’t win, we are very pleased for the winner of our category, Youth Acends. It was a pleasure to be involved in the awards and we had a fantastic evening 🎉

Short Breaks bookings are now open! Join us for a day of mystery solving around The Barbican! Can you help us track down Captain Rummy Drinker's lost treasure? Meeting at Devonport Park Activity Centre, then heading down to the Barbican to solve the mystery! Bring a packed lunch, weather appropriate clothing, and your best sleuthing skills!

Growing Together have started work on a special project this week, working on their own portion of our grounds to create their very own garden! Lots of hard work done today!
We had a lovely time visiting our friends at and exploring ways we can work together to give our young people even more ways to play, develop, and have fun!
A lovely day was had one Saturday, one of the highlights being our young people discovering the new sensory board!
The Urban Tree Festival open day is taking place on Saturday 11th May from 3-6pm at Tulgey Woods in Compton, an excellent opportunity to get outdoors and take part in free wellness activities, including crafting workshops, talks about the wildlife, and free tours around the woods.

Our Radford Rascals celebrated St Georges Day on Tuesday by making themed bookmarks and pictures! Having lots of fun to ensure the sessions don't dragon...sorry, drag on.
Cornish Pasty making today (Ok we'll call them Devon pasties!) for Growing Together. For a first attempt they haven't come out badly at all!
The last in our week of direct access programme promotions (try saying that fast at the end of the week!) looks at our Thursday youth club!
Fancy trying your hand at being the Taskmaster? Watching a movie at our Beckly site? Maybe going bowling is more your thing? Over the next few weeks, these are the kinds of things going on at Youth Club!

Ecotherapy is a nature based therapeutic intervention for young people aged 11-18 yrs (25 yrs living with SEND) aimed at improving mental & emotional wellbeing. Studies have shown the mental health benefits of Ecotherapy to be mood enhancing & stress reducing. It also can increase self-confidence, emotional regulation, wellbeing & emotional resilience
The main aims of the project are to support young people living with emotional & mental wellbeing issues to engage more fully in their education & lives and to build relationships between young people on the project to help reduce social isolation.
We offer a 6-week project based at Poole Farm (all year) & Tinside Lido (in-season) with groups of up to 6 young people and are inviting you to come along and join in!

Good Morning!
The next in our series of direct access programmes focuses on the mental health of young people, in the form of our In Other Words groups. This is a safe space for young people to visit for a couple of hours, play games, do activities, and receive informal support. A chance to have fun, be 'in the moment', and meet like minded peers. We run these sessions from our Devonport Park base every Monday, 4-6, with weeks alternating for age groups 8-12 and 13-18.

Today's look at our direct access groups focuses on our Adult social group!
Hosted every other Monday from the Beckly
centre, our social group offers a client-led
range of social and leisure activities for adults
with additional needs aged 25 plus. Support
workers are also more than welcome!
Sessions cost £8 per attendee, with support
workers and carers going free.
With sessions reflecting the interests and
hobbies of our participants, we give chances to
improve life and social interaction skills
alongside enjoying fun activities, social outings,
and new experiences!
