The Changing Futures Showcase was an excellent event, highlighting the positive impact of partnership organisations across Plymouth. Dagmar and David from our Learning Exchange team, along with Rosanna from our training team, proudly displayed artwork and feedback from our learners and volunteer tutors, and shared our wider accredited training offer.

It was fantastic to network with so many inspiring people, and we look forward to some exciting conversations in the coming months!

We're happy to share that Plymouth City Council is taking important steps to support the homeless community by buying a new building in the city center area. This is a big move towards helping people experiencing homelessness in our community.

Our CEO, John, said: "This is a great decision by PCC and shows a real determination and commitment to tackle the injustice of homelessness."

What a wonderful day in the sunshine we had yesterday at our "Staff Away Day"! We gathered at Shekinah Grow, a therapeutic land-based service on the outskirts of Paignton. Shekinah Grow offers an inclusive and welcoming space for individuals to connect with nature, learn new skills, and sometimes just to ‘be.’ The service promotes a range of mental and physical health benefits through facilitated nature engagement, with the overall aim of improving health by harnessing the link between people and nature.
Some of us enjoyed an ice bath, and teams planted their trees. We also heard from all teams to learn about their current activities and future plans to make our charity even better. The highlight of the day was meeting everyone and making meaningful connections, as effective communication and signposting to relevant teams are extremely important for our success.
