🏳️‍🌈 Our Men's and Women's Performance squads have been showing their support for at Plymouth Marjon University today - supporting LGBTQ+ inclusion and making it clear that football is for everyone.

Players displayed the Pride flag and wore rainbow laces during their fixture.

🏳️‍🌈 We were proud to deliver a special session to year 6 students at Lipson Vale Primary School this afternoon as part of the Premier League programme.

The young people celebrated LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport, and learned the importance of making it clear that football is for everyone. They even designed their own inclusive football boot ✏️

The Premier League works together with clubs to celebrate and promote LGBTQ+ inclusion all year round. Football is for all and everyone should feel welcome ⬇️

🍲 The wonderful team at Samworth Brothers have further demonstrated their unwavering and dedicated support for , in partnership with Ginsters, by donating a fridge to Manadon Sports and Community Hub.

The fridge ensures we will have guaranteed availability of food to support our vital community outreach work by enabling us to stock Ginsters and other food items to service families living in temporary accommodation, support our community food larder, and the distribution of food across the region.

⚽ Girls Talent Inclusion.
We were thrilled to have taken seven under 14 girls to Cliff Hill Training Ground for a round of fixtures with our friends at Exeter City Community Trust. Matches were played between Argyle and Exeter, and the teams were mixed meaning the girls experienced playing with new teammates.

The event enabled the girls, that are not in academies or centres of excellence, to showcase their talent, as well as help them feel more comfortable when mixing with others.

🎅 243 young people from across the region were joined by some very special guests at Manadon Sports and Community Hub for today's Christmas Cracker Roadshow - Plymouth Argyle Football Club first team players and staff, Pilgrim Pete, and the big man himself Father Christmas!

🎅 WOW! I think we can all agree that this was the best Christmas Cracker Roadshow ever!
243 young people from across the region were treated to small-sided games at Manadon Sports and Community Hub with their Plymouth Argyle Football Club heroes.

The first-team players and staff took time out of their schedule to spend time inspiring the community 🙌

Consent, po*******hy and how young people feel about Violence Against Woman and Girls (VAWG) were the big topics discussed at a Youth Conference yesterday, where young people across the city came together to discuss the issue.

As part of the 16 days of activism the youth conference was organised by Zoe Reilly Labour and Cooperative Councillor for Honicknowle, Plymouth City Council’s Violence Against Women and Girls Champion, who said: “The aim of this event was to provide young people, both girls and boys, a safe space, so that they can have an open and appropriate discussion around the issue of VAWG. We want all young people to be and feel heard.

The young people were able to put their questions to a panel of experts, including; Plymouth Youth Service, MAN Culture, Trevi Women, Devon Mental Health Alliance, First Light, NSPCC, The Zone Plymouth, Argyle Community Trust and Ahimsa.
