🏕️ Our Year 2 students have taken on a thrilling multi-day expedition—camping, cooking, and navigating their way through 50 km of challenges and triumphs.

🏀 Coaching prowess on display as Year 2 students lead their peers through specialized sports sessions. Future coaches in the making!

🚤 Year 1 students are diving into their work experience training, mastering safety boat skills, and learning the ropes of rescuing boats—prepping like pros for their upcoming placements as activity instructors.

📝 Meanwhile, they’re also honing their skills in session planning, gearing up to lead their own sports sessions for our Leadership in Sport unit.

🌊 On the water, our optional activities have kept the adrenaline pumping with RYA Powerboat Level 2, Windsurfing, and Sailing courses all week.

We’re gearing up for our adventure to Claviere this Sunday, and guess what? The resort is blanketed in fresh snow, with more on the way! 🌨️

Over the past week, Claviere has experienced significant snowfall, creating a winter wonderland perfect for our skiing adventures. The forecasts predict continued snowfall throughout this week and the upcoming weekend, ensuring excellent conditions for our activities.

With this delightful snowy backdrop, it’s essential to prepare adequately to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. We advise all participants to pack the following items:

1. Thermal Clothing: Layering is key in cold weather. Please include thermal underwear, fleece layers, and woolen socks to keep warm.
2. Waterproof Outerwear: Ensure you have a waterproof ski jacket and trousers to stay dry and protect against the snow.
3. Snow Boots: Suitable footwear is crucial for navigating snowy streets. Pack insulated, waterproof snow boots with good grip.
4. Accessories: Don’t forget gloves, scarves, hats, and ski goggles to protect against the chill and ensure visibility during snowfall.
