1 month apart 🔥👏

I've been working on me now for almost 2 months, and I am starting to finally see changes.

No, it's not just the spray tan 🤣

It's showing you guys that my aesthetic goals match my performance goals...

My deadlift has increased 20kg 🔥
Squats have increased 10kg 💪
Barbell glute bridge has increased 70kg 🤯
Bench press has increased 8kg 🥳

Yeah, do it for your aesthetic goals.

BUT also do it for performance in the the gym and how GOOD that makes you feel.

P.S. I am currently 2kg heavier than when I started 😉

Not every meal needs to have 40G of protein in it, for you simply to enjoy it!

Here's my BERRY gorgeous French Toast 🍓

2 x gluten free bread (you can use any bread you like, we are just GF)
2 x eggs
Splash of milk
100g 0% greek yoghurt
4 strawberries
Pomegranate seeds
1 tsp Maple Syrup

Firstly, whisk the eggs and a splash of milk in a flat container.
Next dip the bread into the eggs and milk so that both sides are soaked evenly (I like to stab mine with a fork so it soaks in)
Then fry off in a pan with some fry light for about 4 minutes each side
Viola
Top with gorgeous BERRIES 😍🍓

Honestly, what a woman. She has been through SO much in her life, and I am in awe of her every session.

She works hard in her sessions but she also listens to what she needs to do OUTSIDE of them. This is important too.

It's funny our perception of ourselves and how it shifts from photo to photo 🫠

Now when I look at the 2nd photo, I actually see pure HAPPINESS and a beautiful background. Not the way my body looks.

But I didn't feel CONFIDENT enough to post it at the time. That's ok, it's something I'm working on.

We work with mothers every day, who make TIME for themselves ⏳

They take time out of their busy schedules, the kids, the house work, work itself, travel, social meet ups and work on themselves.

It sets examples for their children. I am also setting an example for our daughter by working out 3 x a week at the moment to achieve the goal I have set myself.

It's not always easy to fit everything in, but it's important that you do.

💪 MEET PRATEEK 💪

Prateek came to us in April, when he'd never really enjoyed the gym environment before and wanted to give our classes a try. He even convinced his wife to join too!

He's now going into his 4th month training with us, and has never enjoyed anything so much!

"I’m an active person for a 44 year old who’s a keen runner and a decent racquets sportsperson but I have always felt very out of place in a gym setting.

Hitting the gym can be intimidating, especially if you're new to working out. But with the right mindset and approach, you can boost your confidence and make the most of your fitness journey. Here are five tips to help you feel more confident in the gym:

1. Forget about the fact that people are watching you/looking at you. They are not. Most people are in their own little world, concentrating on their own workouts. No one really cares what you're up to 🤷‍♀️

2. Drive to the gym and walk in there. You don't actually have to have a workout but get comfortable walking in there, figuring out where everything is 👟

3. Try 10 minute workouts and build up your time in the gym from there 🕖

4. Get yourself a PT to show you how to feel comfortable doing some of the bigger lifts or movements you're unsure of how to do 🏋‍♀️

5. Set clear goals and have a workout in mind. It's harder to focus when you walk into the gym and have no idea what you're doing. So, have a workout in mind and a goal you want to achieve 🎯

Remember, confidence comes from within. Believe in yourself, stay committed, and enjoy the journey. You've got this! 💪✨

Here's our TOP FIVE tips to target belly fat 🎯

1. You can't target a specific area of fat - it really is that simple!
2. Eat healthily, start working on having a well rounded diet, and stop "dieting", look at how many fruits and vegetables you are consuming across the course of the week and not just in one day
3. Weight train - resistance training will aide fat loss
4. When targeting fat loss, think about overall body composition not just one area! When you start to lose fat, you will notice the area you want to target will follow!
5. Steps. The more you walk, the more your overall health will benefit!

Exercise might just have saved my life...

I was out of shape, couldn't run a mile and smashing in booze and fatty foods daily.... I also hated myself.

I rebuilt my confidence, my body and my life through exercise.

It wasn't quick, it sure as f**k wasn't easy and it's still not. Daily I work to be the person I want to be, challenging myself to train is part of that!

Yup, this is me.

I spent a whole year learning about how to become a midwife. The ins and outs of having a baby, the toll it takes on a woman's body. The enormous amount of pressure women feel to have a "natural" delivery and to breastfeed afterwards.

The way they feel post partum and how they're expected to just bounce back.

But the other side of it, was learning about shift work, managing food, water, enough sleep and trying to train (workout) around all of that.

Granted, I didn't have a child at the time but I still found it hard.

I would never go back to working for the NHS, but I have so much respect for those who do, and that's why I want to support women in the way that I do.

To change lifestyles, not just for weightloss, but to help women feel better about themselves, whether that's post partum or through menopause.

Fitness is about more than just how you look; it's about what you can achieve! 🏃‍♀️🏋️‍♂️

Focus on training for your goals, whether it's running a 5K, lifting heavier, or just feeling stronger and healthier. We currently both have a PT, she has set us performance goals and NOT aesthetic ones.

For instance, mine is a 70kg deadlift and 54kg (bodyweight) squat, Wills is a 210kg deadlift and to be able to overhead press pain free.

When you shift your mindset from aesthetics to performance, you'll find more motivation, joy, and long-term success.

Remember, it's the journey and the progress that truly matter. Keep pushing, stay dedicated, and celebrate every milestone! 💪✨

Just a reminder that getting enough protein is essential for a healthy body! 💪

This is my breakfast yesterday, it had 31g of protein! I find if I get enough protein in for breakfast, i'm not playing catch up in the afternoon.

Whether you're building muscle, recovering from a workout, or just trying to maintain your overall health, protein plays a crucial role. It helps repair tissues, produce enzymes, and support immune function. 🌱🥚🍗

Aim to include a variety of protein sources in your diet, like lean meats, beans, dairy, or plant-based options.

Your body will thank you!

I was going to post the 2nd picture and the last, side by side, so you could see my transformation from 6 weeks post partum (and post C-Section) to now...

But, actually, I decided it didn't quite show what I wanted it to, and what I wanted to tell you...

Which is -

Mine grew a whole human and that's pretty f**king amazing! I am so grateful for our daughter and what my body did to get her here safely.

But even if your body hasn't grown a human, it doesn't matter if it changes...!

Your worth is SO much more than the number on the scale.

Your body does so many amazing things every day for you that we don't even think about or see!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ CLIENT REVIEW ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve been working with Will for 9 months now!

After 5 years of piling on the pounds stuck in a vicious cycle of starting extreme workout challenges resulting in injury and ALL the fad diets to lose weight quickly - some diets so extreme they involved slugging down a glass of Epsom salts in water 🤢🤢.

Of course, none of this was sustainable and only resulted in me falling right back and sometimes even faring worse than when I’d started. My phone had several fitness apps, and I followed all fitness fanatics on social media - alas, nothing helped me.

Will was patient with me and my unrealistic ideas to lose loads of weight overnight. The workouts are fun and push the right amount at the right time.

I’ve learned to be patient, and I’m very much accountable for my actions - I’m only cheating myself with those sneaky “cheat” days.

In 9 months with patience I’ve lost over 15kg and on track to get to my ideal weight. I am now so much more confident and don’t have to hide behind big frumpy smock dresses 💁‍♀️

Will drummed in that any small change is progress and better than the day before and/or doing nothing. Understanding that small 1kg loss is better than if I did nothing!
