Aries holds the archetype of the Warrioress in the first house of the Zodiac.

We have fought our way through the Winter (sorry folks in the South) - now we come out of the dark.

Aries asks us to be our own warrior. To fight for our rights and put our own house in order.

Arguably our greatest battles are internal - understanding our complexes, meeting our shadow, recognising our destructive habits, defences and coping mechanisms - facing the hard; holding the painful.

We need strength to do this work, it takes courage and a dedication to the truth.

It is not for the faint of heart.

Almost counter intuitively we need to be extremely kind to ourselves to find this strength. We need to be disciplined with our sleep and health, refuse the call of our inner critic and be dedicated to exquisite self care.
