It is sited right next to the Kent Hotel. Probably the 1st Hotel, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert stayed in when visiting the isle to purchase Osborne house. :) :)

This pic of the Milky Way at St Catherine's Lighthouse is a couple of years old, but it has seen a resurgence in the Gallery over the past couple of weeks. It's gone on jigsaws, totes, several canvases and countless coasters in recent days. No idea as to why, but sometimes we get trends emerge for a short while. Thank you for the support once again :)

Here is an aerial shot of Woodnutts in the early 50’s from Bilko’s scrapbook! The boat on the left is the ‘Rosita’. From the left the first building is Wade’s old Bostshop. Then all the Woodnutts sheds. Then on the far right the Ex-Golf Hut. Then Houseboats on the sand dunes. In the middle background is No 3 Green of the Golf Course!

A lovely post from our neighbours at St Helen's. Pay a visit from time to time , it's a little bit like a step back in time to how the island was a few years ago. :)
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE. 2024 is here .
Sorry it's a bit late , but we have been unwell with a flu type virus. Knocked me for six! As my immune system has been compromised by cancer.
Let's all hope 2024 is good for us all and the world.
