Coast and Vale Community Action is looking for a Community Link Worker – Maternity Cover – to join our established social prescribing team which works with the Whitby Coast and Moors Primary Care Network.

Social prescribing helps people to take control of their health and wellbeing, taking a holistic approach and connecting people to community groups, voluntary organisations and statutory services for practical and emotional support.

Come and have a go at Willow Weaving in Raincliffe Woods (Raincliffe Wood Community Enterprise) - you can weave a fish, heart or flower!

In between sessions we'll have a chat about growing willow, using it and a look at different things you can make out of. So, if you have any questions, please bring them along. You can book onto however many sessions you wish, starting from 10am or just picking the one you would like to do, but please register on all of the session you wish to attend.

Age UK North Yorkshire Coast and Moors are having an Energy Day and Warm Room Welcome in Scarborough on Wednesday 13 December from 9.30am to 4pm.

A Warm Welcome awaits, plus free hot drinks and cake, a raffle for a heated blanket (free ticket for attending the event), and craft stalls. Their specialist energy advisers will also be on hand to deal with any queries.
