Skipton Eco Day 2024 ✨

What a fantastic day it was…thank you to all those that visited our event, we hope you had as much fun as we did 🤩

Also thank you to all the organisations that came along and brought so many fun & educational activities for our community to enjoy 🌟

There are 9 Eco Warriors hidden around Skipton each displaying a letter, collect all 9 letters and find the hidden word to be in with a chance of winning a Bolton Abbey season ticket worth £150!

Every month Rotary Worldwide focuses on a different area of concern, April is Environmental month hence Skipton Rotary is running its second Skipton Eco Day!

The main aims of the event are to…

🌎 Inspire individuals to take action towards a greener and more sustainable lifestyle.

🔗 Collaborate with organisations concerned with the environment to amplify impact and reach.

🌱 Raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability.

♻️ Promote sustainable practices - recycling, reducing plastic waste, etc.

🤩 Have fun whilst learning about how we all need to help heal our beautiful world.

Join us on Saturday 27th April, 1pm-4pm at Skipton Town Hall

There will be so much going on, come and meet some animals from Gam Farm Rare Breeds, win some prizes on our Human Fruit Machine, take part in our Eco Trail where you have a chance of winning a season ticket to Bolton Abbey worth £150 and so much more…

We also have refreshments from the delicious The Yorkshire Pud Bakery

There won't be a Green Cafe in April. Instead, we encourage our members and followers to support the Skipton Rotary Skipton Eco Day on Saturday 27 April, from 1-4pm at Skipton Town Hall. Climate Action Skipton will have a stall there, alongside many other local environmental groups.

Bring the whole family - all welcome🌍

Come and join us at Skipton Town Council Easter Event where we will be running a family Treasure Hunt through Skipton Woods with prizes for those that complete it!

We will also be running Easter Craft activities and showcasing Skipton Eco Day. We also have our eco trail, come along and see if you can find all our Eco Warriors that are hiding around the town?
