🥳 Happy 1 year work-iversarry Bayley! 🥳

Bayley has been with us now for a whole year and it has been so lovely to have her as part of our nursery team. Bayley is already level 2 qualified and is working with us to achieve her level 3 qualification in childcare.

Bayley has such a lovely, bubbly personality and the toddlers love when Bayley is around! You will usually find her singing away with the children through the day!

Yesterday was a really special day as our lovely Tina who runs our Finance Department celebrated her 4th year anniversary with us!

Tina works extremely hard to keep all of our finances in check and has put so much time and effort into our business group over the last 4 years.

Thank you Tina for all that you do, not only in our Finance Department but also supporting wider team members too🥰

We have entered a new month this week, which means... A NEW THEME!❤️

This month we are going to be travelling around the world and exploring different places!😁

I wonder if you can guess from our photos next week what country we visited first! ✈️

OUR VERY OWN COUNTRY KIDS SPORTS DAY!!🥳

On Friday 9th August we are coming dressed in our sports wear to take part in some sports races within nursery! We will be doing this all week so if you child doesn’t attend on Friday not to worry they will still have a chance to have a turn! 🥇🥈🥉

Another fun filled week at Country Kids Holbeach Drove. We have some new magnets and puzzles, which the children have loved exploring. We have found lots of creatures in the garden this week. This mornings highlight, was when Josh our handyman, found a frog. We also found a slug, a ladybird and a worm! Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the photos 😀

Wow! What a busy, fun filled past couple of weeks we have had here at Country Kids Holbeach Drove! ❤

We have entered a new month, which means a new theme! HOLIDAYS!
Our lovely parents sent us some photos of the children on their holidays and the children have loved talking to us about some of the holidays they have been on with their families. ✈️🏖

We have been doing lots of activities such as packing our own suitcases, playing with lots of water, having a picnic and pretending our sandpits are at the beach! It has been so much fun! 💦🥪🧳

We have also enjoyed celebrating our Pre-School graduation, we had lots of family members come and see little ones collect their graduation awards. 👩‍🎓🧑‍🎓🏆

We have now reached the end of our summer term which means our term time only children get 6 whole weeks at home with their Parents and Carers. We can't wait to hear all about what you get up to when you return in September. 🥰

Last but certainly not least, we just wanted to wish all of our beautiful Pre-School leavers the best for their next adventures, we are going to miss all of you so very much! A big thankyou to our lovely parents too, if you are in need of childcare we are only a call away. 🥰

Last day of term got us feeling like 🫨

Our topic this month...

Happy birthday tomorrow to our wonderful deputy manager Shannon. Have a fab birthday weekend Shannon!

This week the staff have reintroduced the early writing programme - Squiggle whilst you wiggle. It is a fun dance activity that helps the children to produce the movements needed for making marks and eventually progresses to enable the children to form letters. Cora and Bailey have been absolute stars in this reintroduction, within toddlers and preschool. If you give your child a scarf at home and play 'Don't blame it on the boogie', I am sure they will show you what we have been up to.
We have also been taking part in lots of sensory play. The children have had a blast. Enjoy your weekend and the photos!

We have splish splashed our way through the initially warm week, with lots of water play, The children drenched our staff, which they found extremely amusing.

Linking to our farm topic we focused on the story 'What the Ladybird Heard'. We took part in a maths ladybird spots activity, drew wanted posters, played with shaving foam sheep, explored a sensory tuff spot duck pond, made maps and our very own police van.

🥳 Happy 3 year work-iversarry Karly!

Our lovely Karly supports in our pre-school room and is now Level 3 qualified after carrying out her apprenticeship with us. Many of you may not know that when Karly was little, she was cared for by our lovely manager Paula as a childminder!🥰

Karly loves to read a good book to the children and comes up with activities the children are so excited to carry out when they are at nursery!

A big thank you for all of your hard work over the last 3 years Karly!🤩

A heartfelt farewell to Paula.

Today we say goodbye to Paula, our wonderful nursery manager. Paula began the nursery a decade ago, when her childminding business grew too large for her home. In more recent years Paula and the nursery joined the Country Kids family. We wish Paula all the best in her future endeavors and she will be greatly missed. Paula will be back to say her final goodbye at our Preschool graduation on Friday 12th July at 4:30pm.
The children enjoyed giving Paula cuddles, cards and gifts this morning. We have also enjoyed the sunshine today. Enjoy the photos and your weekend!

Old MacDonald had a farm E-I-E-I-O 🐷🐮

What a lovely week we have had here at Country Kids Holbeach Drove learning about the farm. 🐴

The children have enjoyed spending lots of time in our outside area. We have been reading lots of stories about animals and thinking of some describing words for lots of different animals. 📖

Whilst Joshua was cutting our grass, he found a frog which the children all found highly amusing. 🐸

Shannon is our deputy manager here at nursery and leads our lovely pre-school room. Shannons bubbly presence is well loved with her pre-schoolers as she fills each day full of fun and joy.
