DUET PILATES CLASS

Meet Joe & Andrew. They had a session with me last week.
Andrew had done some Pilates before but it was Joe’s first time!

When booking their session, I asked them what their goal was and what they wanted to get out of the class. They are both going to take part in Manchester in January so wanted movement that would support their training.

After a bit of research and some planning, I designed a class that would help their shoulder mobility and open their hips as well as work on that posterior chain. I also shared some tips about how they could use some of the exercises as part of their preparation for the competition.

Teaching them was a real pleasure and I think they both felt it the next day 😂 but they absolutely loved the session. In fact, Andrew left me a lovely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review on Google.

Time to introduce myself…

I’m Aline which my iPhone loves to auto-correct to Alien! 😂

I am a Frenchie living in the UK. 🇫🇷 🇬🇧
I have now lived longer in England than I have in France which means that I am older than I’d like to admit.

I trained to become a Pilates teacher in 2017 with .
That same year, I got hooked on the Reformer thanks to .
I bought my Reformer in 2019 and did the training course in 2021.

I was never the sporty kid and for too long, I only exercised to lose weight.
Doing PILATES has taught me to honour and respect my body for what it can do and not what it looks like.
Teaching PILATES has brought me joy and a sense of purpose. I deeply enjoy watching my clients move and I feel a great sense of achievement when they can see/ feel their progress.
