It’s okay not to feel okay! Sharing our feelings can be a step in the right direction towards feeling better.
When our mind automatically predicts what could go wrong it can trigger anxiety which leads us to avoid those things. If we try to predict helpful alternatives, this can reduce anxiety and increase our confidence to try new things.
The next time your mind is stuck on anxiety and worry, this grounding techinque may be helpful...
Remember STOPP, which can be helpful when we suddenly feel overwhelmed with anxiety.
