WALSALL HATE CRIME REPORT LAUNCH: From ‘Report to Support’:
A borough-wide study of experiences of
and responses to hate crimes was launched The Hub Walsall College this evening.
The research was led by Dr Kim Sadique from DeMontford University in Leciester.
In addition to that we started a Walsall Hate Crime Pledge which attendees at the conference signed.
Grateful to all our speakers including Cllr Garry Perry, Chief Superintendent Phil Dolby, Dr Waqar Azmi.
This was also supported by Andy Street Mayor of West Midlands & we was also pleased to have Simon Foster PCC in attendance.
I would like to thank everyone who attended this evenings report launch, in particular my gratitude to all the victims of hate who shared their personal stories/experiences, without their contribution we wouldn’t have a report.
