I'm Back!
After taking a break from teaching at the end of last year, I'm so pleased to finally be here saying that I'm making my return.
Over the next few weeks I'm running various 'pop-up' classes via Zoom trying out different days and times to see what suits everyone. And of course, I'd love it if you could join me.
I'm starting this Thursday with 'Let's Get Moving' a 60-minute class to get our bodies moving and release that unwanted tension.

Even You Yoga - Online Yoga Classes During the COVID-19 Lockdown I'm offering pop-up online yoga classes. All classes are suitable for beginners and more experienced practitioners alike.
Today was a new moon in Virgo so last night I took some quiet time for myself to light a candle, set some intentions for the month ahead and make a note of gratitudes in my journal.
The last couple of weeks have been so hectic so it was a really lovely way to spend some time resetting and getting ready for a new month.
Lovely day of yoga training and teaching today, rounded off with an evening walk to enjoy the last of the sunshine.
How’s your weekend been?

Looking forward to seeing you all soon via Zoom, don't forget our Monday night class now starts at 7pm to give those back at work a bit more flexibility.
Lots of lovely movement planned for tonight to help your spine stay nice and juicy 😀😀
Happy Friday lovely people.
Cheers x
Still wondering about whether to book on for August Yoga? 🤔🤔
Have a read of what three of my lovely students said recently about the classes.
There are lots of different ages and abilities within the group and this isn't about putting your leg behind your head of bending in ways that aren't right for your body.
We move in ways that fit nicely with how your body is designed to move so that you feel stronger and more flexible as a result.
Plus, there's always the guided relaxation at the end which let's face it, is everyone's favourite bit 😂

YOGA BLOOPERS 😂😂
I couldn't resist sharing this little blooper from one of last week's Zoom classes. It just goes to show that our practice isn't perfect, sometimes these things happen but we take a deep breath and carry on.
I hope it makes you smile
Happy Hump Day 🙏
Last night and every Monday I welcome students into my home (via Zoom) for one of three weekly practices.
Our yoga isn’t perfect, we wear whatever we fancy (messy buns included) and we practice really good quality movement.
This is the stuff that’s going to keep your joints healthy and strong as well as mobile and active.
We ease stiff backs, create movement where there is tightness and encourage space in the mind.
But most importantly we smile as we move, 😀😀 we leave the events of the day behind and we put ourselves first to feel good.
This isn’t any old yoga, this is yoga for real life.
Join me for online yoga during August, Just £30 for 15 classes including replays.

Trainers on 👟 No make up 😍 Just walk 🚶♀️
Throughout lockdown I've been wearing my Garmin most days. ⌚️
Everyday it gives me a new step target based on how many steps I walked the day before. 🚶♀️
I've not always hit the target but this week and last I set myself the goal to reach it on 5 days out of 7 (bearing in mind I'm not driving anywhere to walk.)🎯
Then this week, the quote below has popped up in one form or another for me at least three times!!
I'm taking it as a sign and using it for my motivation because what he says is absolutely on the money.
I go out in the morning, having barely brushed my hair and not a scrap of make up on and I walk myself into a better mindset and some great thoughts and ideas.
I hope you enjoy it as much as me.
“Above all, do not lose your desire to walk: every day I walk myself
into a state of well-being and walk away from every illness; I have
walked myself into my best thoughts, and I know of no thought so burdensome that one cannot walk away from it.”
— Søren Kierkegaard
I always forget to take pictures before / after classes so here’s one of my little stick men instead 😂
On Mondays we practice good quality functional movement, the stuff that’s going to help you keep moving in real life.
And tonight it was all about movements to keep our spines and in particular the lower back healthy.
Now who doesn’t want to keep their back healthy?
Back home after a fab Sunday afternoon walk that turned into a bit of an adventure ⛰
Hope you’re all having a great weekend. Classes via zoom on as normal this week but for now I’m off to enjoy a slightly later than planned (due to the length of the walk) Sunday roast 😂
I completely forgot yesterday to post a pic from my wellbeing challenge for myself so slightly belated here it is. Making the most of a warm evening with a picnic dinner in our garden 😍
Today I had planned an afternoon out but instead I decided to focus on moving slowly through the heat and not trying to do too much. Although I am hoping it cools down enough for a walk later 😃
How are you doing in the heat?
Practise with me from the comfort of your own home with Even You Yoga Online.
July classes are now available to book via my website - https://www.evenyouyoga.com/online-yoga-classes/
£30 for 15 live classes plus access to replays for all those classes so that you can practise at a time to suit you.
So another day of my wellbeing challenge for myself and I had planned to do one hour of uninterrupted reading this morning before logging onto my computer.
But then my mind kicked in and started reminding me about all the things I have to do today.
"I haven't got time to sit and read" (even though it would benefit me and make me more productive)
"I should just crack on and if I have time later I'll read" (well we all know how that will end!)
So I decided to compromise.
I turned my phone to silent and set a timer for 30 minutes uninterrupted reading and I'll adjust my day to do the other 30 minutes later on.
I could have so easily given in but this week I'm determined!
It's not about being perfect it's about making the effort.
This Sunday, I'll be teaching a gorgeous Yoga Nidra session via Zoom, which means you get to lie down, relax and just listen to my voice all from the comfort of your own home.
This practice is pure relaxation with no movement and will be themed around the midsummer solstice.
Come and relax with us for just £5

This week is World Wellbeing Week but I've got quite a busy week ahead which means I might fall off the wagon...
So I've decided to set myself a little challenge.
Starting today, I'm going to do one thing every day that is about increasing my own personal wellbeing.
I started this morning with an early run around the park before starting work. Today's focus is all about movement and exercise and sticking to my target step count for the day.
Anyone else fancy it? You don't have to run, I've planned lots of other stuff for myself for the rest of the week and to be honest I wouldn't mind the moral support 😀😜
It was a pleasure to speak at a networking event earlier this month on wellbeing in the workplace and why it's relevant for organisations as we move out of lockdown drawing on not only my yoga experience but corporate experience too.
Lots in the pipeline on this so if your organisation is making wellbeing a priority - get in touch, I'd love to chat!
June News - The Outset Warrington Hello Everyone! Well another month gone in Lockdown but lots going on! We had a fantastic networking event this month with Hollie from Wellbeing For Success on Workplace Wellbeing. We learnt some great tips and did a little mindfulness exercise together. The next event is on the 15th July with Tim R...
Yoga Nidra is back on Sunday 28th June, 7pm

Yoga from the comfort of your home
One of the things that my regular students have said they’ve enjoyed most about online yoga is the fact that they can practice with a teacher they trust from the comfort of their own home.
Some wear their usual yoga gear and some keep it super casual and wear PJ’s (especially for the super relaxing Sunday Restorative sessions)
My June Online Yoga package starts tonight and there’s still time to secure your spot.
15 live classes PLUS replays of every single one for just £30
You can even practice in your PJ’s 😊
Find all the details over on my site here: https://www.evenyouyoga.com/online-yoga-classes/
Fantastic feedback from Sam one of my regular students who tried Yoga Nidra for the first time last month.
There's still time to get your relaxation fix at this Sunday's Nidra session starting at 7pm.
