Today we designed our own superhero’s whilst learning about primary and secondary colours. We practised mixing paint, using the lightbox and flexed those fine motor skills. The children came up with lots of creative ideas!
We’re running two one off trial classes on Friday 7th June with Kent Family Learning at YMCA Maidstone (ahead of September).

Reflecting on past projects as we prepare for new ones, this was an illustration project to creat tutor portraits in the style of Quentin Blake. We learned lots of skills in how to use and manipulate ink!

Preparation for our first pop art session this Monday. Whilst studying at the work of Palozzi and Rauschenberg we’ll be experimenting with all sorts of paining applicators to create our own piece of poo art. From scrapers to sponges of different densities to brushes of different shapes, sizes and bristle type. We’ll also be offering 2 different types of paint to work with. Our workshops are all about encouraging independent choice and finding what works for you. Spaces still available, send me a message to book your free taster session!
