Just thought I'd share a little video of a kitchen/utility room that I completed recently. Half the walls, and the kitchen units, are all cream, so to add a little "personality" to the room, we wallpapered the remaining walls (away from the food preparation areas) with a nice geometric pattern.

Just a couple of quick photos of bedrooms completed recently

I realise I haven't posted on here for a while. Too busy painting stuff! 😄
Anyway, just thought I'd share a couple of photos of a living room I decorated last year. Dark blues and dark greens are very "on trend" at the moment, and this room combines a dark, rich teal with pale greys and lighter teals and duck eggs to create a fun, relaxed family space, perfect for "chilling out" in.

I was just looking back through some old photos and videos, and realised that I'd never got round to sharing this Dining Room refresh that I completed back in 2021 - so here you go!

My not-so-camera-shy apprentice doing the last of the tidying up in this lovely kitchen and conservatory I just finished, in time for Christmas. I used Johnstone's Trade Paints Brilliant White Covaplus on the ceiling, Tikkurila UK Optiva 5 hard-wearing matt emulsion in colour "TIKB" on the walls, and Benjamin Moore UK Scuff-X Satin in Super White on the woodwork. All resulted in a nice clean, fresh feel, exactly what you'd want in a kitchen!

Like many tradespeople, I am experiencing - and grateful for - an exceptionally high level of demand for my services at the moment. As a result, I currently have no availability until approximately the end of June 2024 at the earliest.

Hall, Stairs & Landing completed today in an older property. A project doesn't need to be dramatic to make it hard work! There was a lot of prep went into all this woodwork! Products used: Tikkurila Vinyl Matt colour-matched to Dulux "Just Walnut" on the walls, Teknos Futura Aqua 90 water-based gloss on all woodwork. Personally, I'd have gone for a slightly darker shade below the dado rail, rather than the same above and below, but the customer is always right. What do you think?

Lovely quality wallpaper to finish off this hall, stairs and landing yesterday

When I've not been teaching this week (!), I've been working on this massive kitchen extension/utility room/conservatory. I can't wait to see it all finished with the flooring and kitchen units in.... It's going to be such a cool space!

Bit of a different day for me - spent some time in a classroom with the next generation of decorators, trying to give them a flavour of what life as a self-employed decorator is like. As far as I could tell, nobody actually fell asleep! 😂
