Worksop Boys & Girls Junior Football Club

U9 lionesses played a local friendly against Medan Vale tonight , some great play by each and everyone of the girls, threading balls from the back wingers running in and strikers getting on the end of it and putting in the finishes to earn a win.

They never looked like giving that ball away and when they did the desire to win it back tonight was brilliant.

Girl of the grass was Francesca with a class performance.

So proud today and in the new kits as well 😍😍.

Two time slots as follows for split age groups.

Session 1 - 6pm-7pm , Ages - U7s up to U11s
Session 2 - 7pm - 8pm, Ages - U12s and up

U10s & U11s keepers are welcome to attend both sessions.

This is specifically for our club goal keepers only and free of charge.

Please book your keepers places via your managers so that they can confirm with our Keeper coaches whom to expect.

So today we entered the Sheffield United tournament. We lost 1.0 in the semi final but it could have gone either way.

We were absolutely brilliant against some very good sides.

We had both sheff Utd sides in our group and knocked them both out.

So proud of them 🙌

Superb performance all over the pitch today by the Falcons, but this lad nailed it in his first game for the team.

Excellent forward thinking play using and providing support to his team mates.

U10 hawks POTG goes to the team today after some difficult times of late the squad absolutely left 110% on that pitch today and battled for everything showing what they can be capable of 💪 special mentions for B and I today who dominated there positions on the pitch and didn't give an inch 👍

Cougers representing Worksop B&G in the Dinnington U8s tournament today. Very battle worn and weary. Tough day.

Highlights include coming from behind twice to win 3-2 and coming back from 4-0 down to draw 4-4!! These lads never give up!

Dronfield Tournament today for the U9 lionesses, some excellent displays of football that got us 1 goal away from the final again, was a great day and all the teams involved made it that way with some great sportsmanship on show,
